Welcome to Khoroch ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Khoroch Customer App and Khoroch Shop App (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By using Khoroch, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Shop App and at least 13 years old to use the Customer App (with parental consent). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Our Services

• Customer App: Browse local shops, place orders for groceries and medicines, receive delivery services
• Shop App: Register business, list products, manage inventory, receive orders, process payments

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information and maintain account security. Shop owners must provide valid business documentation. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use Services for unlawful purposes or violate applicable laws
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
• Manipulate reviews or engage in fraudulent activities
• Sell prohibited items (alcohol, tobacco, unlicensed medicines)

5. Orders, Payments, and Refunds

All orders are subject to shop acceptance. Payment processing is handled through secure third-party providers. We may refuse orders for pricing errors, unavailability, or suspected fraud. See our Refund Policy below for details.

6. Intellectual Property

All Khoroch content is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify without express written permission.

7. Disclaimers and Liability

Services are provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Bangladesh law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion. You may terminate your account through app settings or by contacting us.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Bangladesh law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms with notice through the app or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

This Privacy Policy explains how Khoroch collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our apps.

1. Information We Collect

For Customers:

• Personal Information: Name, phone number, delivery address
• Usage Data: App activity, preferences, crash reports, device information
• Location Data: GPS location for nearby shop services and delivery tracking
• Order Information: Purchase history, preferences, payment methods

For Shop Owners:

• Business Information: Shop details, owner name, address, trade license, verification documents
• Financial Information: Bank details, tax information, payment preferences
• Transaction Data: Orders, sales records, commission payments, analytics
• Product Data: Inventory, listings, pricing, availability

2. How We Use Your Information

• Process and deliver orders
• Connect customers with nearby shops
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Send order updates and promotions (with consent)
• Provide customer support
• Prevent fraud and ensure security
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share limited information with:

• Shops/Delivery Partners: Order and delivery information
• Payment Processors: Secure transaction processing
• Service Providers: Third-party services that help operate our platform

4. Data Security

We implement robust security measures including end-to-end encryption, secure servers, access controls, and regular security audits. We comply with Bangladesh Data Protection laws, Digital Security Act 2018, and international standards.

You have the right to:

6. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data retained while active
• Inactive accounts: Up to 3 years for reactivation

7. Children's Privacy

Customer App: Not intended for children under 13. Shop App: Strictly for businesses (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under applicable age limits.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified through the app or email.

1. Order Cancellation

Before Shop Confirmation: Free cancellation
After Confirmation: May incur charges based on preparation progress
Shop Cancellations: Full automatic refund for inventory or other valid issues

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds available for:

• Damaged, spoiled, or incorrect items
• Significant delivery delays beyond promised time
• Shop-initiated cancellations
• Technical errors causing duplicate charges
• Quality issues with perishable goods

3. Refund Process

Submit requests within 24 hours of delivery through the app or support@khoroch.app. Include order details and reason. Photo evidence may be required. Refunds processed within 3-7 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Items

• Prescription medicines (unless defective)
• Opened personal care items
• Items damaged due to customer negligence
• Orders cancelled after delivery commenced

1. App License

Limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Khoroch apps on your device for intended purposes only.

2. Content and Reviews

You retain ownership of submitted content but grant us license to use for platform operations. Submit honest reviews only. We may remove inappropriate or fraudulent content.

3. Quality and Safety

We work with shops to maintain standards but are not directly responsible for product quality. Verify expiration dates and condition upon delivery. Partner pharmacies are properly licensed.

4. Delivery Services

Provided by independent contractors. We provide estimates but cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Availability varies by location and shop hours.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for functionality, analytics cookies to understand usage, and preference cookies to remember settings. You can manage cookies through device settings. Third-party services (Google Analytics, etc.) may place their own cookies.
